WOW!! Where did the summer go? Grandma was right when she said the older you get the faster time flies by..............
Classes will start off the year on September 7th, divided as follows:
a. child care (crib room) will be through age 3 or 4 - depending on child's development and parental discussion. Play time will still be the "norm" but will also introduce Christian story reading time and other appropriate crafts/activities.
b. Elementary school 1- Grades pre-K to 2nd grade. Will meet near the glass doors in the back area.
c Elementary school 2 - Grades 3-6. Will meet in area behind dividers in back near the rainbow.
d. Youth - Grades 7-12 At parents/youth discretion, 7th or 8th may attend Elementary2 classes.
e. If there are enough children, Youth may be broken into 2 levels.
Curriculum
a. Except child care - we will use an Episcopal lectionary curriculum to follow what the parents are reviewing in church.
b. The books will be a guide - our focus is activities that help the kids apply God's word iin their daily life.
Other Fall activities will include Samaritan's Purse - boxes must be done before Thanksgiving. 50 boxes is our goal this year.
Christmas Pageant - We will have one , but it is not decided yet what format this will be.
