Classes started on September 11th, divided as follows:
a. child care (crib room) will be through age 3 or 4 - depending on child's development and parental discussion. Play time will still be the "norm" but will also introduce Christian story reading time and other appropriate crafts/activities.
b. Elementary school 1- Grades pre-K to 2nd grade. Will meet near the glass doors in the back area.
c Elementary school 2 - Grades 3-6. Will meet in area behind dividers in back near the rainbow.
d. Youth - Grades 7-12 At parents/youth discretion, 7th or 8th may attend Elementary2 classes.
Curriculum
a. Except child care - we will use an Episcopal lectionary curriculum to follow what the parents are reviewing in church.
b. The books will be a guide - our focus is activities that help the kids apply God's word in their daily life.
Samaritans Purse Project - The children are busy preparing the toys and other items that will be included in this years Samaritans Purse Project. Boxes will be complete by Sunday the 20th of November, ready to ship overseas. Last year we shipped 58 boxes. For more info about this wonderful project, go to http://www.samaritanspurse.org/
Christmas Pageant - This year will be a talent show,
as we alternate each year with a pageant about the
Christmas story. We have so many talented children,
it should be a great show. Sunday the 18th. Be there!
